It was a delightfully cosy night in our log cabin. We had dry bickies and cheese for dinner before snuggling down for the night.
Today it's still raining. We drove up behind Jasper to see Pyramid Lake and Lake Patricia. The lakeside scenery is truly spectacular. With the clouds so low, we can't see the snow capped mountains that surround the lakes.
We saw squirrels but nothing larger.
We stopped for a coffee in a beautiful restaurant overlooking Lake Patricia and enjoyed the view of some crazy tourists paddling across the lake in a canoe.
The afternoon was quite bleak, with cold rain and wind, so after a walk through town we headed back to our cabin in the woods.
