VICTORIA

After our exciting time searching for whales and other marine life,  we called the hotel shuttle to collect us and return to the hotel. 
From there we drove around Victoria to see more of the place. We were planning to follow the route of the hop on hop off bus but seemed to end up in other places.
We discovered the wealthier part of the city, where the houses were palatial mansions overlooking the bay.
Deer seem to wander freely about the streets, grazing on people's lawns!
When we got back to the hotel,  we walked back down the streets in search of the large cathedral we could see in the distance.  Unfortunately it was closed, so we walked a big loop back to the hotel and chose the restaurant on thr hotel's 18th floor for dinner. The view was lovely,  including a spectacular moon!
