After arriving back in downtown Juneau we bought tickets to ride the Mount Roberts Tramway to the top of Mount Roberts.
At the top of the mountain we ate lunch in the restaurant (with free WiFi ) where we were able to check emails and update the blog.
This cruise is the last one through before all cruises cease until Summer. Most businesses operate from May until September before closing down for the winter months. A lot of the towns' populations head to warmer climates rather than brave the harsh Winter conditions, although there are some locals who stay for the full year. Most shops close, as does the entire tourist trade.
